Art in the car dealership
Again and again, with great enthusiasm, we provide exceptional, largely undiscovered artists from the region with space for temporary or permanent design in and especially at our company headquarters at Karl-Frowein-Strasse 1-3 in Bonn.
Our most ambitious and by far the greatest art adventure to date is the work of Stefanie Spilles and Hsieh Tsan-Yu, graduates of the Alanus University of Art and Society. For their preliminary diploma, they designed the property wall of our car dealership as a colorful and imaginative contrast to the urban environment at Bonn's Viktoriabrücke.
The roaring waves with their foamy crests are reminiscent of the Japanese masterpiece "The Great Wave off Kanagawa" (Katsushika Hokusai, around 1830). But in contrast to this famous color woodcut, our car dealership is home to all kinds of fantastic sea creatures, car-inspired mythical fish, surfing jellyfish and wave-riding chameleons, which bring a smile to our faces, our visitors and innocent passers-by at least once a day.
Thank you, Stefanie Spilles and Hsieh Tsan-Yu!
